Important information regarding parcel shipping during quarantine in Lithuania

Due to the situation both in Lithuania and in the world, during quarantine we demand to place your orders at home and call a courier.

It will not be possible to place an order or pack your parcel at our Sendparcel office in Veiverių g. 142, Kaunas, Lithuania. If you really cannot wait for courier’s arrival at home, then you can bring your fully prepared parcel with all the necessary documents to our office. This way we can protect yours and our health.

The shipments are currently available, however there may be delays and some exceptions apply:

IMPORTANT: During this period, a significant number of companies do not serve customers in offices and shops and just have a sign on the door "Closed", so employees who still work there usually just lock the door. In order to ensure the smooth delivery of parcels and their collection from companies, we recommend adding relevant information to the courier next to "Closed" sign.

  Parcel delivery is not available in Spain to the following postal codes:
08700, 08710-08711, 08788, 10900, 30360, 30364, 30366-30370, 30380-30386, 30389, 30710, 30720, 30729-30730, 30739-30740, 30860, 30868, 30870, 30875-30880, 30889
  When shipping parcels abroad, first make sure that the recipient will have an opportunity to receive the parcel. Undelivered shipments will be returned to the sender, due to the current situation shipments cannot be stored in the terminals.
  GLS shipping services (both delivery and dispatch) will not be available in France on Fridays. As a result, the delivery time for parcels will be extended.
   
Venipak Shipping to / from Poland extends 1-2 working days.
  Only contactless delivery is available. All parcels are delivered within 2 meters of the consignee without direct contact with the Consignee.
 

VENIPAK couriers will deliver items to individuals with a PIN code sent to the Recipient via SMS.

How will it work?
Upon courier arrival at the recipient, the courier will send the PIN code to provided mobile phone number of the Recipient. The recipient will have to dictate the received PIN code, which the courier will enter in the scanner and check whether the PIN code is correct. If the PIN code is correct - the courier will deliver the shipment to the Recipient.

If the consignment with the PIN code cannot be delivered to the Recipient due to technical issues, such as the incorrect Recipient's telephone number, the contactless delivery methods used so far, which are listed below, will be used.

  Recipient’s signature on a courier scanner is being changed to one of the following methods:
1. The consignee is requested to sign (name, surname, signature) on the VENIPAK sticker on the consignment. The courier will take a photo of the parcel sticker with the signature (Recommended method);
2. If the Recipient refuses to sign on the sticker, the courier shall, with his scanner, take a picture of the consignment with the Recipient without Recipient's face in a photo.
  Parcel pick up and shipping is temporarily suspended in parts of VENIPAK Pickup points. A list of available Pickup points can be found here.
   
LP Express Parcel delivery - outdoors only.
In order to maintain a safe distance, LP EXPRESS couriers deliver items to the recipient only oudoors. Upon courier’s arrival, ensure you do go outside to pick the parcel.
  Instead of a signature - an identity document.
You no longer need to sign when you pick up the shipment. Instead, the LP Express courier asks to show the identity document from which the last 5 digits are taken at a safe distance. To speed up the process, please prepare the identity document in advance.
  IMPORTANT: Due to the current situation, both in Lithuania and in the world, there is a very large flow of parcels and transportation challenges faced. Due to this reason, the terms for both PARCEL PICK UP and PARCEL DELIVERIES are delayed up to 5 W.D in Lithuania, and PARCEL DELIVERIES abroad may be delayed longer.
   
SP Premium During the quarantine period, the office reception time is until 17:00.
  Consignments containing large quantities of medical protective equipment, such as medical masks, must be authorised for export. Authorisation is granted by State authorities.
  Parcel delivery is not available to/from Libya and to/from Wuhan, China.
  Maximum real or volumetric weight of shipments allowed to send from China per client is 100 kg per one business day. Due to the high volume of shipments, delivery from China may be delayed.
 

Economy parcel delivery is not available to/from certain post codes in France. By entering the exact sender's and recipient's information in our parcel delivery calculator, it will show you whether or not Economy delivery service is offered from/to the post code of your choice in France.

COVID-19 is currently having a strong impact on the global aviation industry, resulting in reductions or cancellations of aircraft flights in most countries. These restrictions force couriers to use indirect routes to deliver shipments to recipients. The courier company temporarily adjusts the rates for shipping services and introduces a Contingency Surcharge. Sendparcel.com, as courier brokers, must also follow this path.

Below is the application scheme of the Surcharge:

Only contactless delivery is available. All parcels are delivered within 2 meters of the consignee without direct contact with the Consignee.

Delivery process. Recipient’s signature on a courier scanner is being changed to one of the following methods:
1. The courier will take a picture of the recipient next to the consignment using a scanner.
2. If the consignee refuses to take a photo, he/she shall provide his/hers identity document next to the consignment’s document. The courier will take a picture of provided ID and consignment.
3. If the consignee refuses to carry out the above, the courier shall not deliver the parcel. The shipment will be returned to the sender.

The courier may not enter apartments or private homes other than public areas, e.g. hallways, stairwells, etc. Access to business premises is not restricted.

   
Omniva Consignments with courier delivery are automatically redirected to the nearest available parcel locker without prior notice. All parcels are delivered to parcel lockers only.
  Due to the large number of parcels, OMNIVA parcel lockers are fully occupied and many parcels are just waiting in the line for their delivery to the parcel locker. Due to this reason, delivery to parcel lockers may be delayed from 1 to 5 working days. Recipient of the parcel will receive an SMS message about the delivered parcel to the OMNIVA parcel locker, please ensure it is picked up as soon as possible.
  If there is a large queue at one parcel locker, it can be redirected to the nearest free parcel locker.

  Economy parcel delivery is not available to/from China and Singapore.
  Parcel delivery is not available to/from Andorra, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Tonga, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna Islands, French Polynesia (Tahiti), India, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Mali, Mauritius, Niger, Rwanda, American Samoa and Samoa Islands.
